The "Seven Thrones" Monastery or the Osenovlashki Monastery lies at a distance of 5 km from the Eliseyna station. It is one of the most interesting monasteries in Bulgaria. It is built at the foot of a mountainous ridge on which there are remains of an ancient fortress. The earliest evidence for the existence of the monastery dates back to 1511. The monastery's church is of special interest. Its design is unusual and rarely-met along our lands. There are seven cult chambers in it. The internal decoration of the temple is a collective one. The carved iconostasis date from XVIII c. and are non-polychromic with simple carving composition. Of special interest are a group of icons in carved frames which, in styles and manner, resemble the works of priest Nikola from Teteven and teacher Urosh who has worked in the region during XVIII c. There are two icons of high value in the monastery - "Jesus the Almighty" and "The Guiding Virgin Mary" from XIX c. They are made by the Vitanov's family masters from Tryavna. The variety of works of art speaks for the fact that masters of different parts of the country have been invited to decorate the new temple. Today the interesting buildings of the monastery are restored, representing its Revival period outlook.
