The village of Tzenovo lies at a distance of 69 km southwest of the district town of Russe. Tzenovo is the municipal centre of 8 component settlements. The village is situated in the eastern part of the Danube Plain by the Yantra River. Tzenovo has a population of about 2 000 inhabitants. The village is known under the name of Chaushevo until 1934. The municipality is specialized in the dairy industry, wine making, the production of grains and technical cultures.
